The James Madison Fellowship
The Madison Fellowships honor James Madison's legacy by providing support for graduate study that focuses on the —Constitution – its history and contemporary relevance to the practices and policies of democratic government. Seniors who are planning one or two years of graduate study leading to a career in secondary school social studies teaching are eligible to apply. The scholarship provides funding for graduate studies.
To Apply
You do not need to submit a pre-application for institutional endorsement for the Madison Graduate Fellowships – see their website for application instructions. You are strongly encouraged, however, to inform ONS of your decision to apply and work with Jill Deans or another faculty mentor on application content and procedures well before the deadline.
Final Application is due March 1, 2008.
