The Jacob K. Javits Fellowship

The deadline to submit a 2011, Jacob K Javits Fellowship application, was September 30, 2010. Please check back next summer for the 2012 deadline.

The Jacob K. Javits Fellowship provides funding for graduate study in the arts, humanities, and social sciences (see the website for all eligible fields of study).  Applicant selection is based on academic achievement, honors and awards, letters of reference, and a personal statement. GRE scores must be submitted with the application.  Students in the creative and performing arts need to submit a portfolio.

Students do not need to be nominated by UConn in order to apply, but applicants are strongly encouraged to work with ONS on their applications.
